Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has high praise for his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo, calling him AEW’s answer to WWE’s Rey Mysterio.
Andrade and Flair teamed together for the Nature Boy’s final match last week, defeating Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett.
Appearing on Lucha Libre Online, Ric Flair claimed that the 32-year-old is as good as Rey Mysterio.
“What he brings to the table is his strength. He’s like 240 pounds but he can do everything Rey Mysterio can do, who’s 190 pounds.
“He can wrestle big guys, smaller guys and entertain and provide the action that the top guys need to bring to be successful. He brings it all.”
Flair recently appeared for WWC with Andrade, though the former NXT Champion lost to Carlito at the show.
