Ric Flair has once again teased coming out of retirement and is confident another final match will be better than what fans saw this past July.

On July 31, Flair teamed with Andrade El Idolo to defeat Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett, in what was promoted as the WWE Hall of Famer’s final match.

Flair has since teased coming back for one more match and addressed Ricky Steamboat’s recent match on the latest ‘To Be the Man’ podcast episode. He said,

“When I spoke to him, we were trying to get him to work with us [for Flair’s last match.] He indicated to me back then that he didn’t think, health-wise, he was ready to do it.

“I could wrestle again right now too, and I’d be a lot better than I was in the Last Match because when you’re gone away that long you forget about little things that’ll make a difference.”

Steamboat competed for Big Time Wrestling last weekend, teaming with FTR to defeat Brock Anderson, Jay Lethal, and Nick Aldis.
