Ric Flair To Wrestle Final Match On July 31st For Jim Crockett Promotions, Flair Comments

Ric Flair is coming back for one final matchup.

The Nature Boy confirmed this morning that the recent reports of him making an in-ring return are true, and that fans will be able to witness his swan song on July 31st for Jim Crockett promotions, a special that will air on FITE TV. The multi-time world champion shared a tweet from ESPN’s Marc Raimondi breaking the story, and added the following:

“The Rumors Are True! I’m Going To Walk That Aisle, Style And Profile, One Last Time! July 31st! Nashville, Tennessee! Jim Crockett Promotions! I Will Prove Once Again, That To Be The Man, You’ve Got To Beat The Man! Now We Go To School! WOOOOO!”

Along with his tweet, Flair shared a promotional video for the event, which is set to take place in Nashville, Tennessee and will be titled, “Ric Flair’s Last Match.” As of this writing, it has not been determined who Flair will face in his final contest, but previous reports mentioned a potential tag team contest featuring FTR and The Rock ‘N’ Roll Express.

Fans did get to see the Nature Boy throw some chops at Kenny Omega back in the summer of 2021, when he accompanied Andrade El Idolo for a showdown against the Cleaner for the AAA Mega Championship at TripleMania. Flair has been training extensively alongside Jay Lethal, with the duo releasing their sessions on social media. We’ll keep you updated on Flair as this is an ongoing story.
