Riddle Says He’s Still Holding Out For Possible Brock Lesnar Match

WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Riddle has said he’s still hopeful for a match against Brock Lesnar.

Since coming to WWE, Riddle has been vocal about wanting to face the Beast Incarnate given they both have a background in the UFC.

Lesnar has no interest in facing Riddle, reportedly confronting him backstage at the 2020 Royal Rumble and ordering him to stop bringing him up.

While speaking with Catch Club, Riddle was asked about his dream opponent in the main event of WrestleMania, and had an obvious answer:

“Brock Lesnar. You know I’ve been wanting that guy for a minute, but he didn’t want me, but now we were kinda like this. I might be able to get in there now. I don’t know if I will like the outcome of the match.

“I had a little taste. You know things didn’t go according to plan. I think everyone would agree with that. Brock broke out of his pod and did what Brock does. Nobody was ready for him and he came in and he Brocked us. I would like that match when the time is right and the build is right.

The “little taste” is in reference to Riddle and Lesnar being in this year’s Men’s Elimination Chamber match, which Brock dominated to regain the WWE Championship.

Lesnar hasn’t been seen since his WrestleMania 38 loss to Roman Reigns and reportedly left immediately after the match.
