Ring of Honor will release a ‘Summer of Punk’ DVD today. The DVD will focus on CM Punk’s memorable run with the ROH World Heavyweight Championship back in 2005, a storyline that was almost emulated in the Summer of 2011 by WWE.
In 2005, CM Punk took the ROH World Heavyweight Championship hostage after revealing he was leaving for WWE. Punk then had a series of classic matches with the likes of Austin Aries, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe and Colt Cabana.
