Ring Of Honor issued the following:
FLIP GORDON, TRACY WILLIAMS COMING FOR SHANE TAYLOR’S WORLD TV TITLE AT DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR
ROH World Television Champion Shane Taylor faces his toughest test yet when he puts his title on the line against two hungry challengers in a Triple Threat Match at the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view on Sept. 27 in Las Vegas.
“The Mercenary” Flip Gordon of Villain Enterprises and “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams of LifeBlood will be attempting to win their first championship in ROH, and both are certainly more than capable of doing so. The odds of Taylor retaining the title in Sin City are not in his favor.
However, Taylor has been dominant since winning the championship in May. Believing he is overlooked and underappreciated by ROH management and fans has fueled Taylor, who is determined to become the longest-reigning ROH World Television Champion in history.
This match isn’t just about the title, though. Gordon and Williams are embroiled in a heated rivalry that began at the Best in the World pay-per-view in June when Gordon double-crossed LifeBlood and joined Villain Enterprises. So in addition to wanting to win the championship, Gordon and Williams also want to destroy one another.
