Ring Of Honor has come out and publicly stated that they will not be renewing the contract of their current Women’s Champion, Kelly Klein.
Earlier today on Twitter, Kelly’s husband, BJ Whitmer revealed that Kelly was “fired” by the promotion today.

In a statement made to PWInsider, Ring Of Honor said that they don’t usually discuss personal matters but since it was made public, they wanted to clarify that they told Kelly they wouldn’t be renewing her contract, they were not firing her:
“We don’t generally discuss personal issues but they seem to have made it public – we didn’t fire [Kelly Klein], we just notified her that we would not be renewing her contract.”
Kelly has responded to this issue on Twitter:
