WWE Hall of Famer ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James believes Chyna should have been brought back for the 1,000th episode of Monday Night RAW.
In July 2012, RAW reached 1,000 episodes and opened with a segment involving most members of D-Generation X.
Despite including Triple H, Shawn Michaels, James, Billy Gunn and X-Pac, the segment did not include Chyna and there was no reference to her.
On his Oh You Didn’t Know podcast, Road Dogg said that WWE should have included the Ninth Wonder of the World.
“She should have been there. That’s how I feel about it. I don’t know if there was communication between [WWE and Chyna] at all to try and get her. I don’t know. Looking back, especially now, I feel bad. And 100 percent, she should have been there.”
In a series of tweets at the time, Chyna confirmed that WWE did not ask her to return but was proud of her time in DX.
Chyna died in 2016 without getting a chance to return to WWE and was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019 as part of DX.
