Dave Meltzer reports that Rocky Romero has told several people that he has signed a 2-year deal with New Japan.
As noted, Romero was one of the names that were rumored to be leaving New Japan Pro Wrestling after news broke that members of the Bullet Club and Shinsuke Nakamura had given notice at Wrestle Kingdom 10 this past week.
The rumor was that Romero would be a trainer in NXT if he had left NJPW. He’s been with NJPW since 2007.
