Ring Of Honor (ROH) has reportedy offered Silas Young a new three-year contract that he’s expected to sign. This is according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Initially, Young was believed to be WWE-bound, as his contract with ROH will expire after this year. He was in attendance for this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, leading many to believe his future with the company was certain.

However, Meltzer explains that Young’s son, a big WWE fan, wanted to attend the show, which is why he was there. Young is a two-time ROH World TV Champion and has been on his current run with the promotion since 2012. When WWE makes their big free agency push this January, it’s unlikely Young is a part of those plans anymore.

WWE is rumored to go after several top stars who are expected to hit free agency. They certainly have the money to attract those stars, with all the financial gains WWE has made through their Saudi Arabia shows and new billion-dollar broadcast deal with FOX.
