As we previously reported here on eWn, Dalton Castle was injured during his match with Roderick Strong on last week’s episode of AEW Collision. Due to the injury, the match had to be edited. It is said that Castle was legitimately knocked out in the bout after being caught with Strong’s jumping knee strike.
AEW President Tony Khan has confirmed that Castle is injured and will be out of action for the rest of 2024. He wrote,
“Some injury news that’s forced changes to the plans for this Friday’s #ROHDBD Death Before Dishonor. @theDALTONcastle was injured in his Saturday Night #AEWCollision bout last week vs @roderickstrong. Sadly Dalton will be out of action for the remainder of 2024. Get well soon DC”
