It was announced during a “New York Minute” segment on the December 4, 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite that Chris Jericho’s opponent for ROH Final Battle 2024 would be revealed on the December 5th episode of Ring of Honor.
That segment was actually recorded in advance right after AEW Dynamite finished, and we now know who The Nueve will be facing.
Surprisingly, it appears to be Matt Cardona who came out to challenge Jericho for the ROH World Championship when Ring of Honor comes to the Hammerstein Ballroom on December 20, 2024.
