Roman Reigns Could Pass Up Big Names In WWE History Books At Extreme Rules

Roman Reigns is set to face Bobby Lashley at the WWE’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV) this weekend (Sun. July 15, 2018). The action goes down from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

If Reigns main events the PPV opposite Lashley, one Reddit user pointed out it would be Reigns’ 27th PPV main event of his career. That would place Reigns at 11th all time as a PPV main eventer; passing up names like Batista, Bret Hart, Kurt Angle and Edge.

He would also be one main event behind Brock Lesnar, who is 10th in all time main events, with 28. The other names ahead of Reigns on the list can be seen below, with John Cena topping it off with 72 main events:

  • Chris Jericho (30)
  • The Rock (33)
  • Stone Cold Steve Austin (68)
  • Shawn Michaels (68)
  • Randy Orton (68)
  • Triple H (68)
  • The Undertaker (69)
  • John Cena (72)

Also, should Reigns and Lashley’s match main event the show, it would be the first ever normal singles match to main event Extreme Rules.
