Ronda Rousey using a sling on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown was not just for the show.
During SmackDown, Rousey accompanied Shayna Baszler, who earned a submission victory over Tegan Nox.
PWTorch reports that Rousey’s injury is legitimate and that she has aggravated a previous injury.
Rousey’s injury is not expected to infringe on her ability to compete at WWE WrestleMania 39 next month.
Though no match has been announced for Rousey yet, it is believed that she and Shayna Baszler will challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships in due time.
During this week’s episode of RAW, Becky Lynch and Lita dethroned Damage CTRL’s Dakota Kai and IYO SKY to win the titles.
This win marks Lita’s first championship reign since 2006, and makes Lynch the sixth WWE Women’s Triple Crown winner.
