The leader of the Riott Squad, Ruby Riott had the chance to shoot on how impactful and historic the Evolution event is to her and the rest of her squad in a WWE official Youtube video. Like many other moments in WWE’s recent history, the Women have been given another revolutionary opportunity, but Ruby Riott thinks many fans have a negative outlook on the event.
“To be honest I feel like every time we’ve been set up we’ve always knocked it out of the park as a division itself and I think think this is another challenge that has been brought in front of us.
I think that a lot of people are going to be watching and a lot of people are probably going to be waiting to see us fail but I can’t wait for myself, my Squad and the rest of the division to show the world what the women of WWE are really made of.”
In the last few years, the Women of WWE have been given their own Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, Hell In A Cell, Money In The Bank, and the Mae Young Classic just to name a few. Although rumors are running rampant that WWE management doesn’t view Evolution as such a historic moment, I do believe it is. Let’s hope that the division kills it tonight and Ruby’s fears don’t come true.
