If NXT goes head-to-head against AEW on Wednesday nights, which is likely, there are rumors that NXT will “absolutely” use WWE main roster talent on their shows.
As many of you know by now, WWE NXT currently airs on the WWE Network on Wednesday nights at 8PM EST. There is talk of moving NXT to FOX Sports 1 in the fall but that is not confirmed as of this writing. WWE executives are still discussing the future plans for NXT.
As we’ve been reporting, AEW will air on TNT beginning in the fall, although no premiere date has been announced. The reason for AEW likely airing on Wednesday nights is because TNT airs NBA games on Tuesday and Thursday.
AEW and TNT will be revealing a big announcement regarding the deal later this week.
