As we head into the new year and get closer to WrestleMania, you know The Undertaker rumors will once again fire up and it’s happening already. According to a report from Wrestling News Source, there is talk that ‘Taker will be wrestling “at least one more match.” According to the site, the belief among those backstage in WWE is that ‘Taker has already begun training for a match at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans, LA. Recent reports indicate that The Undertaker is in “great shape” for his age and a lot of that has to do with his training schedule. For those unaware, ‘Taker has a full-size gym and wrestling ring in his home.
When he was backstage at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event in November, The Undertaker was said to have been moving around much better than he has in recent years and many attribute that to the surgery he underwent. It should also be noted that the announcers still haven’t referenced him as “retired” on TV. According to sources, Roman Reigns is the only one who is allowed to say Taker is “retired” and that’s because of their past feud. Regarding the 25th Anniversary episode of RAW on January 22nd, the site says “Taker is not going to appear on that show just to wave and say hello. I’ll leave it at that.”
Of course, take this report as strictly a rumor for now.
