On this week’s edition of AEW Dark, All Elite Wrestling fans witnessed a main event between The Wingmen (Cezar Bononi & Ryan Nemeth) and Jake St. Patrick & Sage Scott. We here at eWrestling News recently reached out to Sage Scott for a comment on his main event match on AEW Dark.
When asked about his experience working for the promotion, Scott remarked:
“Well, the experience there was first class and [it was] amazing… getting to learn more [about] how TV works! I plan to keep working on my craft on the indies and earn my way back to AEW permanently.”
Sage Scott first made his AEW debut on February 4, 2021, where he would team alongside Jake St. Patrick in a losing effort to The Butcher and The Blade. Scott would suffer two more losses in AEW Dark in trios matches alongside St. Patrick and Chandler Hopkins in subsequent episodes of AEW Dark. However, Scott’s AEW career highlight came in his tag team match – alongside St. Patrick – against The Wingmen on June 29, 2021.
