Sammy Guevara suffered a concussion at the AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view event while teaming up with Will Ospreay and Konosuke Takeshita to defeat Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi.
Don Callis announced after the show that Guevara was not cleared to compete due to his medical condition, but did not specify the reported concussion.
Guevara had been hoping to return on this Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite in Houston, Texas.
In a post on Twitter, Guevara noted that he has not yet received medical clearance. You can check out his tweet below:
