Following Wardlow’s win over Scorpio Sky for the AEW TNT Championship on AEW Dynamite, Sammy Guevara stated on Twitter that he is now allowed to challenge for the title. He has been unable to challenge for the AEW TNT Championship since teaming with Frankie Kazarian and Tay Conti to face American Top Team in a mixed gender six-person tag match at AEW Double or Nothing 2022. They suffered a loss in the match which came with a stipulation that Guevara and Kazarian could not challenge Scorpio Sky for the AEW TNT Championship moving forward. It appears he intends to challenge Wardlow and hopes to become a four-time AEW TNT Champion.
He didn’t stop there, it seems attempting to add Wardlow to his plate wasn’t enough. Immediately after Jon Moxley retained the Interim AEW World Championship against Brody King in the main event on AEW Dynamite, Guevara tweeted, “I want to fight Moxley.”
It is unclear if he intends to challenge for the Interim AEW World Championship or if this is just a continuing of the feud between Blackpool Combat Club and the Jericho Appreciation Society. Either way, these are some tough challenges that Guevara wants to line up for himself.
