At the World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana live event on Saturday, women’s Japanese pro wrestling star Sareee confirmed recent rumors that she has signed with WWE.
Sareee expressed interest in signing with WWE during a Tokyo Sports interview back in September.
In July, Triple H spoke with Tokyo Sports and confirmed that WWE was interested in Sareee, and that the two sides actually met while the company was in Tokyo during their WWE Japan 2019 tour.
Trained by Kyoko Inoue, Saree, 23, started her pro wrestling career in 2011 and has wrestled extensively for the aforementioned Diana promotion, where she is a former two-time World Champion and one-time Tag-Team Champion.
WWE has yet to publicly announce the signing of Sareee.
We will keep you posted as additional information regarding her WWE status surfaces.
