During this week’s edition of his “Wrestling With the Week” podcast, AEW Superstar Scorpio Sky commented on the brass ring that was hanging above the ring during the ladder match at AEW Revolution. Sky noted that the ring was actually pretty heavy, weighing around 25-30 pounds. He said,
“People were getting their jokes in about that Sonic ring, but that thing was heavy. It was really heavy. People were like, ‘Oh, you gonna take that home?’ ‘Hell no,’ because I’m not going through security. It’s legitimately 25 or 30 pounds. It’s so heavy. It wasn’t even easy to get off the hook because you really had to lift it off. It was not light at all. That will probably be the last people see of that unless they do another Face of the Revolution match.”
