Recently inducted WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner has said he is very confident in his abilities against Ric Flair.
This month, Flair confirmed that he will have his last match ever in July, over a decade after his most recent match.
Appearing on Highspots Wrestling Network’s Sign-It-Live stream with his brother Rick, Scott was asked about possibly facing the Nature Boy:
“He [Ric Flair] ain’t no old friend of mine. I would kill him [in the ring]. I’d destroy him. Yeah, everybody wants to see him get beat up.”
Steiner infamously cut a promo on Flair during a 2000 episode of WCW Monday Nitro which resulted in Big Poppa Pump earning a two-week suspension.
It has been reported that Flair was going to face Ricky Steamboat in July but The Dragon has since declined the match.
