This week on Sean Waltman‘s Podcast, Johnny Fairplay was a guest and discussed the recent mishap with Brad Anderson shooting on rookie Jacob Ryan at an RWA Show:
“‘Jacob finds out through the grapevine that he has hurt Brad Anderson’s kid. So from everything I’ve heard, Jacob reached out via social media to apologize because once again this is a good kid. And word does not make it to Brad Anderson, but it’s not for a lack of effort from Jacob Ryan…As the match is about to start White Mike is watching at the curtain and Julian {Strauss} is watching and Julian goes, ‘You oughta pay attention to this, he’s about to shoot,’ referring to the promo, not referring to ‘Hey he’s gonna hurt this kid that I’ve had at every show for 3 years.’ And I could be wrong, and I am not one to stick up for the authority…For that aspect of it, I don’t think Julian knew that he {Brad} was going to hurt this kid. Once again, I could be wrong but I think it’s a misinterpretation on the part of White Mike, on that aspect… They are in the ring, and Brad Anderson says you know ‘You hurt my kid and I am gonna hurt you.’ So he goes right at him, he busts him in the mouth, he loosens some teeth and he shoots on him, throws him outside the ring and then chokes him…
Brad Anderson is an ex-con, he has done real time, for real shit…So Julian Strauss was aware that there was a checkered path, had no idea the extent that it was, I know that… So anyway, the kid is yelling for help, a lot of people are yelling at the referee, there’s nothing the referee could have done with Brad Anderson choking that kid…the kid is still yelling for help, the first one there is Julian Strauss the promoter, and he’s like ‘What are you doing? Are you crazy?’ You see him and I see him yelling at Brad Anderson…Afterwards, Brad goes to the back, everyone is ready to fight Brad Anderson… so I go to the back and Brad’s outside and everyone is like ‘Dude, you don’t do that. We put our lives in each other’s hands. F***k you.’ They are screaming at him. One of the international superstars, the British guy, he’s begging Brad Anderson to come fight him. He was just like, ‘C’mon, I dare you.’…For the record, before the show, this man{Brad Anderson} is working out in the back like a mad man, and he has this faraway look in his eye. I don’t know if you’ve ever met Brad, he’s a f***** weirdo…Collectively all the boys are just like ‘If that dude doesn’t leave right now in his gear we’re all leaving.’ Julian grabbed a police officer who was working the event, and Brad Anderson was removed from the event in his gear….”
