Cody Rhodes discussed during a recent interview that the next AEW show will be a separate hour on a WarnerMedia Network. The show had been rumored to debut before the end of the year.
Dave Meltzer speculated on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that the show would’ve likely already debuted if it wasn’t for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meltzer noted that the show was originally earmarked to air on TNT. It appears that Kevin Reilly departing his executive role as President of Turner Networks put a stop to those plans.
Meltzer doesn’t know what it had been planned to be compared to what the new plans are for it now.
