For the past few days, WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins and SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch have been bickering on Twitter. The champions have been arguing over who is the real “Man” of WWE.
This is a play off two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair’s old “The Man” moniker. WWE’s Twitter account posted a photo of Rollins celebrating with fans during the company’s trip to Spain. The photo was captioned “Man of Madrid”. Rollins retweeted the photo and tagged Lynch:
“Read that @BeckyLynchWWE ?”

Lynch clapped back with a quick response:
“You might be a man, but I am undeniably the man”

Rollins then appeared to challenge Lynch to a match:
“As a great man once said…if you wanna be The Man, you gotta beat me first.”

Lynch responded by saying she could take five minutes out of her day to down “The Architect”:
“No problem, I could spare five minutes to drop down and face you. Send location. And bring those adorable little flame trunks you have so The Champ can show you how to really burn it down #iamtheman“
