Seth Rollins was the latest guest of The Pat McAfee Show, where between being serious and playing his gimmick, he explained why he rates The Shield higher than The New Day.
Rollins mentioned the high level of success as single competitors that he and Reigns achieved in WWE, plus Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley’s success in WWE and AEW: “For the greater good, right? I mean look where Roman is at now. Look where Mox is at now, look what he’s doing, and me, I am here on your show, talking all about it. So I think everybody’s doing just fine, just fine. Look where The New Day’s at. What are they doing? Are they here sitting on your show? Are they the greatest of all time? Absolutely not.”
During the feud between Reigns and Rollins, Moxley was mentioned on WWE television as “Mox” and Dean Ambrose to show how important The Shield was regardless of his choice to leave WWE for AEW.
