We want to thank everyone in New York who supported the EVOLVE doubleshot last weekend. We now focus on the EVOLVE debut in the Midwest with several match announcements. Let’s get to it….
April 28th: We want to wish Darby Allin a speedy recovery. Allin had surgery on Monday morning to remove bone chips from his fractured elbow. He suffered the injury when Ethan Page hit him with a shovel at EVOLVE 82 last Saturday. Allin will be in a cast for 12 weeks. It is unknown how much rehab he’ll need after that. We regret to report that Allin is off all upcoming events.
April 28th: EVOLVE returns to La Boom in Queens, NY on June 25th. Tickets will be available at TicketFly.com soon.
April 28th: EVOLVE makes its Chicago area debut on May 20th. This is an afternoon event and will be over in time to go to NXT that night. Tickets and info are available here. We can now confirm that the WWN Champion Matt Riddle will defend the WWN Championship vs. Kyle O’Reilly!
April 28th: It is set. EVOLVE Champion Zack Sabre Jr. will defend the EVOLVE Championship vs. Ethan Page at EVOLVE 84 in the Chicago area!
April 28th: Keith Lee vs. Donovan Dijak at EVOLVE 81 was voted the best match of the WWNLive Experience in a poll by FloSlam. Dijak has stated he will return to EVOLVE if he gets a rematch. EVOLVE officials were quick to oblige. It will be Lee vs. Dijak on May 20th.
April 28th: Tracy Williams vs. Jeff Cobb has been signed for EVOLVE 84!
April 28th: EVOLVE will come to the Detroit area for the first time on May 21st. Tickets and info are available here for this special event that includes a chance a meet & greet with “The Big Wiggle” Norman Smiley. We have two match announcements.
April 28th: Lio Rush wants a rematch against EVOLVE Champion Zack Sabre Jr. after their tremendous match last Sunday at EVOLVE 83. He’ll get it in Livonia, MI at EVOLVE 85! If Sabre Jr. is still champion, this will be a title match!
April 28th: Kyle O’Reilly vs. Tracy Williams in a battle of two technical hard-hitters comes to EVOLVE 85 in the Detroit area!
April 28th: ATTN WRESTLERS, MANAGERS & REFEREES- Spots are filling up quickly for the first WWN Seminar/Tryout in the Midwest on May 21st in Livonia, MI. This will be a very special WWN Seminar/Tryout as it is a rare opportunity to learn and perform in front of NXT Trainer Norman Smiley. Go here for all the info.
