According to a report from USA Today, several XFL players have signed with the NFL. This includes Houston Roughnecks star quarterback PJ Walker. He signed with the Carolina Panthers on Monday. Houston Roughnecks coach June Jones says Walker’s deal is for two years. He told KRIV-TV the following,
“I’m excited. It’s a great opportunity. It’s a chance to go there and compete.”
Walker and Will Grier will both be up for backup to Teddy Bridgewater.
Also, Houston Roughnecks defensive back Deatrick Nichols recently signed with the New Orleans Saints. Former St. Louis Battlehawks quarterback Jordan Ta’amu has also signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
