Becky Lynch and Lita won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles from Dakota Kai and IYO SKY on Monday’s episode of RAW with the help of Trish Stratus, who evened the odds by taking out Bayley.
It was previously reported that Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler would challenge the champions at WWE WrestleMania 39.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there are several “twists and turns” yet to come before WWE makes any matches official for WrestleMania.
Meltzer added, “Whether that means another title change back, or a Stratus heel turn leading to that, or something else isn’t known past we’ve got more storyline to get to the destination of likely two different matches coming out of this. But Rousey & Baszler were to face whoever ends up as the tag team champions in a few weeks.”
