Several people who were flown in for the recent ROH television tapings weren’t used, including Dak Draper.
The ROH booking caused many of the wrestlers to cancel their weekend independent appearances, although they still got paid more than they would’ve otherwise.
A report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter states,
“One independent promoter told us that he lost four of his top guys and none of them got used on the ROH tapings. The promoter said he wasn’t mad or anything and was happy for the guys to get national exposure and quite frankly they would be worth a little more if they were used on ROH television.”
