Seeing Shane McMahon run SDL every week as the Commissioner did wonders for the brand. His face was refreshing and his energy was undeniable, however, Shane stepped away from the squared circle to have surgery and spend some time off. On Smackdown’s 1000th episode, McMahon returned, and also appeared on last night’s episode as well which lead fans to ask questions about a full-time return.
According to PW Insider, Shane is back full time and ready to run Smackdown as Commissioner with GM Paige.
In this day and age, technology runs the world which has led to public access to one’s favorite celebrities through social media like never before. Fortunately for us wrestling fans, it is becoming more and more popular for wrestlers to hold Q and A sessions via Twitter. Last night, Scott Dawson of the Revival held said Q and A where he was asked by a fan what his reaction was when finding out he would be paired with Dash Wilder. Dawson responded that he and Wilder have been best friends since childhood and that this was their choice. Afterward, the likes of the IIconics and the Young Bucks, two other teams since childhood, chimed in.
Just like the Hardy Boys, Usos, IIconics, and more, it seems like the Revival was planned years before they arrived in the WWE.
