Shawn Spears spoke during last night’s AEW Rampage tapings for the first time since his AEW absence. The Perfect Ten returned to the company this past Wednesday on Dynamite and interacted with FTR.

Slam! Wrestling reports that Spears revealed that his mother had passed away a few months ago, and he decided to take some time off. He mentioned that his mother was the first person to know that he and his wife, Cassie Lee, were having a baby.
Spears is set to team with FTR to take on The Embassy tonight on AEW Rampage.
