WWE Money In The Bank concluded with an outcome most did not predict, and many were not happy with. Earlier in the night, Sami Zayn was mysteriously attacked, therefore taking him out of the men’s MITB match. As the bell rang, the participants went from 8 competitors down to 7.
Just as Ali was on the verge of capturing the briefcase, some very familiar music played. Out came “The Beast” Brock Lesnar, raging on the way to the ring. The match concluded with Brock Lesnar climbing the ladder to retrieve the MITB contract.

On a day where WWE addressed AEW as direct competition, shots were fired from the opposite side. Former WWE Superstar and current AEW talent Chris Jericho wasn’t a fan of the booking. He took to Twitter to share his reaction on Lesnar’s win.
Awesome to see @BrockLesnar win the #MoneyInTheBank match…even though he wasn’t officially entered! Brock is the future of the biz and this perfect example of genius booking shows why @WWE will remain on top FOREVER! #GoBrockGo

Earlier this year, Chris Jericho was rumored to be trying to coerce Brock Lesnar to jump to All Elite Wrestling. However, it is very unlikely Brock would do so, as nothing can be predicted with AEW’s financial status; if they are to rival WWE.
