Singles Match Announced For ROH Bound By Honor Event

ROH issued the following:
Two former ROH World Television Champions looking to bounce back from Championship match losses at Supercard of Honor meet for the first time in over a year when “The Villain” Marty Scurll takes on Kenny King!

“THE VILLAIN” MARTY SCURLL vs. KENNY KING

For much of 2017, the ROH World Television Championship was around the waist of two men. From January through May, “The Villain” Marty Scurll reigned supreme in the Television title scene, picking up victory after victory, establishing himself as a worldwide star. In September, Kenny King defeated KUSHIDA, the man that defeated Scurll to win the ROH World Television Championship, to capture the title for himself!

Both men have seen their stock rise since. When King defeated Silas Young for the ROH World Television Championship in Atlanta, he became the third star ever to win the ROH World Television Championship more than once. Meanwhile, Scurll firmly established himself as a contender to the Ring of Honor World Championship. Both men had to confront defeat at Supercard of Honor: King lost a Last Man Standing Match and his championship to Young when the Beer City Bruiser zip tied his legs following a picture-perfect Shooting Star Press while Scurll lost a grueling ROH World Title Match to Dalton Castle but had a visual pinfall on the champion.

Since then, King took time off to regroup and clear his mind with family in Guyana while Scurll won a Defy or Deny Match by pinning the World Champion Dalton Castle to earn himself another World Title match. King returns to the ring for the first time since Supercard in West Palm Beach while Scurll looks to continue the momentum he built at Masters of the Craft! Who will emerge victorious?
