According to Super Luchas, the SmackDown Live tag-team; The Colons, Primo & Epico have requested their release from the company. The duo had a gimmick change following their move to SmackDown Live & possibly thought things would begin to change for their careers but, not much changed for the duo.
Suspicions were raised when a shirt appeared on Pro Wrestling Tees for Orlando Colon (Epico). WWC out of Puerto Rico which is owned by the Colon family, retweeted the story.

UPDATED: PWInsider is reporting that The Colons are still booked for SmackDown Live events & are still listed on the planned lineups for the shows. The report states that there is no current evidence of the initial rumors of the duo asking for their release are true.
