SmackDown Overnight Viewership Back Up To Over Two Million

Spoiler TV has reported that this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was back up to over two million viewers. The early number is said to be 2.341 million, a massive jump from last week’s overnight number of 1.983 million. It did even better than the final number of last week’s episode, which was 2.077 million.

According to the report, the first hour had 2.611 million viewers while the second hour had 2.251 million. The show had a 0.45 rating, which is even from last week’s episode. WWE SmackDown was also was the #1 ranked show in the key 18-49 demo.

This week’s episode saw the return of Hit Row and Ronda Rousey, though neither were advertised beforehand. The show was main evented by the advertised Intercontinental Championship match between Gunther and Shinsuke Nakamura.

The final numbers will be out on Monday afternoon.
