As we’ve noted, Wrestling Observer Radio noted that a new Vince McMahon edict is that all matches will end with the same segment, and no matches will be contested during commercial breaks.
Matches will no longer run over the course of several segments. The new rule was in effect on last week’s episode of RAW. The only exception to the rule was 2 of 3 Falls Matches, as each fall takes place per segment. According to PWInsider, the idea has been tossed around of doing a rounds system.
The idea was pitched in the last few weeks, which was described as similar to the old European rounds system. There is no news on whether or not WWE has decided to go along with the idea, only that it has been discussed.
