The rumors & speculation have been making their rounds for weeks that the current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is looking to return to UFC & potentially have a fight with Jon Jones.
On today’s installment of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez gave his take on the situation stating that a source within WWE has indicated to him that Lesnar will be competing at next year’s WrestleMania 34 event in New Orleans. As far as Lesnar’s UFC move goes, the belief is that Lesnar will not be fighting in the octagon in 2017 due to the fact that he has 5-months left on his suspension & still has not (as of this writing) re-entered to USADA testing pool.
UFC is/was hopeful that Lesnar could return to the octagon this year.
