As we reported earlier here on eWn, Jaxson Ryker made his return to WWE in a segment with Elias during the Main Event tapings that were held prior to RAW. According to a report from Fightful, the return surprised several people backstage.
The segment was said to have been a “dry run” to see how the two pair up together after the idea was pitched to Vince McMahon. WWE will be gauging how the appearance is received before they move forward with it.
As many of you know by now, there has been major heat on Ryker after some controversial tweets he made about “Black Lives Matter” earlier in the year. Also, several WWE officials weren’t big on him when he was initially called up.
