Ronda Rousey successfully retained the WWE SmackDown Women’s Title against Shotzi at Survivor Series: WarGames.
WWE is looking ahead to the Royal Rumble, and news has come out regarding WWE’s plans for Rousey at this event.
WrestlingNews.co is reporting that the plan is for Raquel Rodriguez to challenge Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. The report added that Rousey is scheduled to go into WrestleMania as the champion, indicating she will retain the title at the Royal Rumble.
WWE Royal Rumble takes place on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from San Antonio, Texas, at the Alamodome.
