On Wednesday, WWE taped the September 20th and 27th episodes of NXT 2.0.
JD McDonagh defeated Tyler Bate in a #1 contender’s bout on the September 20th episode. The following episode saw a promo exchange between NXT 2.0 Champion Bron Breakker, McDonagh, and the returning Ilja Dragunov.
McDonagh took issue with Dragunov wanting a title bout, so he suggested that the latter and Breakker wrestle each other with the winner facing him.
Breakker had a different idea as he threw out the challenge of a Triple Threat Match where he would defend his NXT 2.0 Title against both men at Halloween Havoc, which takes place on Saturday, October 22nd from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL.
They accepted the challenge, and it will be the main event of the pay-per-view event.
