Despite being on WWE TV and working backstage for 18 years, last night was Stephanie McMahon’s first match at WrestleMania. McMahon teamed up with her husband Triple H against the team of Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey in a Mixed Tag Team match.
Although McMahon lost the match for her team after submitting to a Rousey armbar, there is some silver lining to her loss. Per WWE Stats & Info on Twitter, McMahon now holds the record for longest time in between a WWE Superstar’s TV debut and their first WrestleMania match.
McMahon holds the record at 18 years and six months, narrowly beating out Bob Backlund by just three months. Here’s the full list:
