WWE did not announce the “official” attendance for Extreme Rules. This marks seven of nine pay-per-view events in 2019 that they have not done so. Michael Cole noted that the Wells Fargo Center was “packed” and “filled to capacity” but they did not reveal a number. The show was said to have not even been close to being sold out and it took place in Philadelphia, PA, a city and venue that normally sells out quickly.
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin tweeted the following on Sunday night, reacting to the “RAW Reunion” show that was announced during the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event. The event will take place next Monday, July 22nd, and will feature numerous names from the past including Eric Bischoff, Austin, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Christian, Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, The Boogeyman, Shane Helms, Ted DiBiase Sr., Jimmy Hart, D-Von Dudley, Jerry Lawler, Sgt. Slaughter and Santino Marella.
