While speaking to Justin of The Wrestling Classic, Steve Austin talked about a wide range of topics, including coming out of retirement at WrestleMania 38 when he beat Kevin Owens and whether he will appear at WrestleMania 39.
WWE has offered Austin opponents for a match at this year’s WrestleMania pay-per-view event, such as Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and others, but Austin has turned down the idea of wrestling at the show. The Texas Rattlesnake said,
“You know, I haven’t heard anything (about me being at WrestleMania 39). We’re literally, as we speak right now, about two weeks away and it’s the biggest show of the year. Right now, I think WWE has got as good a roster as they’ve had since the Attitude Era, They got a deep roster so I think so many guys and gals need those coveted spots. They got plenty names to draw from, plenty of talent to draw from. I think they should shine the light and the cameras on their current superstars… To be determined (if I’ll be appearing).”
