Steve Maclin On His Conversation With Trinity Fatu, Chris Jericho Reacts To Top 25 WWE Debuts

During a recent appearance on The Wrestling Perspective Podcast, Impact Wrestling World Champion Steve Maclin spoke about his interaction with Trinity Fatu (formerly Naomi) after the latter signed with Impact Wrestling. He said,

“I think for the past two years that I’ve been there, [Impact has] been the quiet bubble that’s just been constantly growing, and then that finally popped recently. Then with Trinity showing up in Chicago, it was really cool just for my behalf too because I was in her shoes where I even had the conversation with her, ‘How you doing?’ She’s like, ‘It’s just weird for me to be told to just go be you,’ and I’m like, ‘I know, tell me about it.’”

Meanwhile, WWE released a video showcasing the Top 25 Greatest Debuts of All Time, and unfortunately, Chris Jericho failed to rank in the Top 5. The list is as follows:

5. Brock Lesnar (2002)
4. Ronda Rousey (2018)
3. Goldberg (2003)
2. Kane (1997)
1. The Shield (2012)

Taking to Twitter, Jericho who came in at #10, wrote:

“Hold my beer…..”

On the August 9 episode of Raw Is War in Chicago, Illinois, Jericho made his WWF/E debut with a promo battle against The Rock. Jericho made his in-ring debut as a heel on August 26, losing a match against Road Dogg by disqualification on the inaugural episode of SmackDown after he put Dogg through a table.
