Steve ‘Skinner’ Keirn Gives No “Merit” To WWE’s Hall Of Fame

Former WWE Superstar Steve Keirn isn’t interested in a WWE Hall of Fame induction as he does not give the accolade much merit.

During his WWE career, Keirn competed as Skinner, an alligator hunter from the Florida Everglades.

While speaking to “Wrestling Epicenter,” Keirn shared his honest thoughts about the WWE Hall of Famer. He said,

“I get asked all the time about the Hall of Fame. But I keep going back to [the fact that] this business is a work. This business isn’t real. When people go into the Hall of Fame — don’t get me wrong — they all deserve to be in the Hall of Fame, but they’re not all there [for] being great workers though … I don’t put any merit in there. It is an honor and that’s great that those guys [are] in it. If it makes them better and if they get a little boost in their life or their ego or their career or anything that helps out of it, God bless them.”

Keirn ran down some names who have been inducted without ever wrestling in WWE, including The Great Muta and Andy Kaufman.

The ex-wrestler also lashed out at The Bella Twins who “stuck the business up their a**.”

Keirn said he would question WWE if they ever contacted him about a Hall of Fame induction as he “didn’t do anything exceptional.”

After a loss to The Undertaker during a February 1993 episode of Monday Night RAW, Keirn left the company but returned for a ‘gimmick battle royal’ in December 2007.
