Despite TMZ.com reporting last week that Sting had retired from professional wrestling after suffering a serious neck injury during a match with Seth Rollins at the WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view, TMZ caught up with the 2016 WWE Hall of Famer and asked him if the rumors were true. Sting said the following:
“My neck is okay. I’m not officially retired. There’s a lot of rumors out there, but I’m not officially retired.”

It should be noted that there have been rumors that Sting will “officially” announce his retirement at the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony. We shall see!
