Stone Cold…Squeeze Often? Yep, that’s a thing now, thanks to the city of Madison, Wisconsin.
The city has officially revealed that one of its two new garbage compactors will be named for the popular WWE Superstar after online polling.
In an homage to the Bionic Redneck, the compactor features a logo graphic that’s reminiscent of the Texas Rattlesnake, complete with a skull and crossbones. Both of the city’s compactors have been employed in an attempt to reduce the city’s diesel fuel consumption. They’re projected to save up to 188 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year as a more fuel-efficient alternative to the city’s current infrastructure. The city states that this will function to assist in reaching the goal of a net-zero carbon emission status by 2030.
