Tag Team Match Announced For Saturday’s ROH TV Taping

ROH issued the following:

One of the longest-reigning Goddess of STARDOM Tag Team Champions Oedo Tai’s Kagetsu and Hana Kimura team for the first time in Women of Honor competition and will compete at the Fairfax Excellence International Television Taping!

But one of the women that dethroned Kagetsu and Hana in Sapporo for the championships, Mayu Iwatani, makes her return to the United States and teams with a woman that gained her respect for competing in Japan in the Women of Honor Championship Tournament, Jenny Rose!

Shockingly, Kagetsu’s resume grew even further almost immediately after losing the Tag Team Gold, winning STARDOM’s flagship and top championship the World of STARDOM Championship by defeating Toni Storm in Nagoya!

A Women of Honor tag team bout has been signed for Fairfax Excellence when one of the most dominant teams in STARDOM history team for the first time in Women of Honor to take on one of the only women to hold five active STARDOM Championships, Mayu Iwatani and Jenny Rose!

Mayu is currently one-half of the Goddess of STARDOM Tag Team Champions with Saki Kashima but specifically requested to team with Jenny Rose based on watching her compete in the first round of the Women of Honor Championship Tournament against Kagetsu! Jenny pushed Kagetsu to her limit before ultimately losing to the new World of STARDOM Champion but opened many eyes and found a fan in one of the world’s best, Mayu Iwatani!
